7/9 - Chicagoland update is posted.   Sorry for missing last week.   Summer is here and I have been enjoying some of that time!

5/26 - Just to make everyone aware ...  It is a terrible tradgedy that Kyle Busch passed away.   I enjoyed watching him race and he will certainly be missed.

The passing of Dale Earnhardt back in 2001 was difficult for this contest.  it was the first race of the season and the team switched to the 29 car.   This contest gave everyone a ZERO if you had the #3 car.  That was the precedent.

It is a unfortunate but if the #8 races you will get the owner points for that car and if the #8 is not racing you will get zero points.  That was the rule at the beginning of the contest and it will remain for the balance of 2026.

5/12 - Update for Watkins Glen is posted.

Contact me if you see something amiss.

Any questions let me know.

Standings - The weekly results will be shown in this chart for you to download.  All reports will be posted in PDF format.

Week # My comments
Week 19 The 19 car dominates the race - Chase has been heating up lately.   All JGR cars have been putting their best foot forward.   Next up is Hot'Lanta (Atlanta part 2).  Should be a good fast race.
Week 18 SVG recovers from SanDiego to put on a clinic about road course driving.   Next up is Chicagoland Speedway after a long absence.
Week 17 Ouch, the 97 and 88 cost lots of people some points this week.  No one had winner - surprise to me and everyone who watched the race I am sure.   Nice job by Corey Hiem - he will be successful in Cup some day.   next up is Sonoma - another road course just up the coast from San Diego.
Week 16 Hamlin wins AGAIN!   Next up is San Diego Naval Base - should be interesting with a new course.
Week 15 Hamlin goes from the back to the front in a great Irish Hills thriller at Michigan.  Nice job by Denny and his team.  Next up is Pocono.  I would love to get there one of these years.
Week 14 Hamlin (and Toyota cars) dominate the race at Nashville.  Good to see SVG get a top 5 on an oval.  He keeps getting better.  Next up is Michigan - Hope the weather is good.
Week 13 Missing Rowdy - nice finish in the rain for Suarez - did not expect that outcome.   Next up is Nashville.
Week 12 SVG showed why he is the best road course driver in NASCAR ever!  Great if you had him for this race (like me).  Next up is Dover AllStar race followed by Charlotte to celebrate Memorial Day.
Week 11 Elliott scores the win at Texas - nice job.  Next we Go Bowling at The Glenn!   I wonder aloud if SVG will continue his domination on the road courses (he was runnerup at COTA eariler this year).
Week 10 Well, I think the big one got many of us this week.   I had a good thing going with the 3 car until he wreched with about 1/4 mile to go.  Nice win by Hocevar, loved the out the window wave and burnout.  Next up is Texas Motor Speedway.
Week 9 Reddick wins - seems like I said that several times already this year.   That kid is driving like a madman.  What a great year for the 45 team.  Next up is Talledaga !!
Week 8 Gibbs gets his first Cup win, nice to see the celebration include Momma Gibbs.  Been a long time coming but the strategy (and hot headed Busch) helped secure the win.  Next up is Kansas
Week 7 Hamlin dominated but Elliott wins the race.   Next up is the Easter break then off to Bristol Baby.
Week 6 The Dominator (at least so far this year).   Reddick wins for the 4th time in six races.  Good job for Tyler and his team and owners.   Next up is Martinsville
Week 5 Hamlin scores lots of points at Vegas (70)  That's like 3 or 4 races worth for some of us.  If not for 3rd and 5th place he could have maxed out with 76 points.  Great if you had him.   Next up is Darlington.   Early in the year - hope the weather is good.
Week 4 If you had the 12 or the 20 you made significant move this week.   Blaney had a great car and came through the field several times.  Next up is Vegas baby!
Week 3 Three in a row for the 45 car - nice to see him in victory lane.   Was good to see SVG run up front, he did not have enough to catch the 45 at the end thought.   Next up is Phoenix.
Week 2 Atlanta results - off to a good start.  Next up is COTA.
Week 1 Daytona results are not complete yet
